Autel seems to be making things difficult to create a software backup method they guarantee will work once a tool is out of it's update period . After my 2 years of updates are over on my MaxiSys Elite I am not sure it will  keep buying updates, however  it would go a long way towards my confidence and other people  in the tool and the company at the time of update period expiration to provide you  the option of paying a $200 fee to guarantee  five years of  Tablet software backup insurance for getting the Server to allow tablet old software access  again after doing a factory reset and reinstalling the old backup software back on to the your tablet whenever you need to for a  5 year period of time .
